2018 Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day is all about having fun, raising money and changing lives!  As the excitement builds we wanted to let you in on the fun and encourage you to join us in supporting Red Nose Day.

What is Red Nose Day?

Over the last three years, BGCA has received $4.6M from Comic Relief, Inc. through Red Nose Day USA to assist in our mission to serve kids where they need us most.  Through this funding, BGCA has provided Clubs with over $2.8M in pass-through to support Summer Brain Gain implementation, provide food during the summer to underserved youth, capacity building in Native Clubs and to provide hurricane relief to Clubs in Puerto Rico.  In 2018, through Red Nose Day funding, 500 Clubs will receive pass-through funding to support Summer Brain Gain implementation and to provide meals and snacks to Club youth during the summer months.   In the three years since its launch, Red Nose Day has raised over $100M, with funds raised positively impacting more than 8 million children here in the US and around the world — and we are hoping to have an even bigger year in 2018!

TUNE IN!  This year, Red Nose Day is bigger and better than ever. NBC is hosting a three-hour night of primetime programming on May 24, including:

  • At 8pm ET, the second annual Celebrity American Ninja Warrior for Red Nose Day

  • At 9pm ET, a very special Red Nose Day edition of “Hollywood Game Night” featuring Emmy-winning host Jane Lynch

  • At 10pm ET, the fourth annual Red Nose Day Special, hosted by Chris Hardwick, will feature comedy, music, and a look into the lives of kids that Red Nose Day donations impact.
