The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Blue Ridge is seeking a dynamic individual to implement Boys & Girls Clubs of America programs for youth aged 5 – 18 years of age. This person will plan, implement, supervise and evaluate the delivery of exciting and engaging programs and activities provided to youth within a specific program area. The Program Leader ensures that youth development principles are incorporated into programs and activities. Monitor programs, services and activities to ensure safety of members, quality in programs and appearance of the Club at all times. The Program Leader also ensures the incorporation of character development, age appropriate and gender-specific and culturally diverse programs and activities. The Program Leader must be a mature and balanced person with a healthy sense of humor who can provide guidance and discipline to ensure a safe and positive environment for youth. Most importantly, the Program Leader must set high standards for Club members by acting as a positive role model.
Student Success Coach (MAP Coach)
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Blue Ridge is seeking Student Success Coaches to assist with the implementation of small group coaching (tutoring) for students identified by the Measurement of Academic Progress Assessment (MAP). The Coach will plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate activities provided to youth within a specific program area. The Coach ensures that the assigned youth receive coaching for mastery on the Standard of Learning (SOL) Objectives where MAP indicates the student needs improvement. The coach is to follow BGCBR guidelines for quality programs, services and activities, which will ensure safety of members and appearance of the Club at all times.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Blue Ridge is seeking a Part Time Grants Administrator. The Grants Administrator is a critical role in a fast-changing organization. The Grants Administrator has two major responsibilities: First, s/he oversees the financial and record-keeping side of the annual grant-making process for all grants received. Second, s/he works closely with program staff and senior leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting and procedural compliance on all grants, including governmental grants. The Grants Administrator works closely with program and executive staff, ensure organizational effectiveness and compliance, help set relevant policies and provide technical assistance as required. Because s/he is a vital connector for the finance, development, and program staff, the Grants Administrator must possess the ability to see and understand all points of view. We are seeking an individual with deep financial acumen and a strong track record of success. This individual will have robust collaboration and problem-solving skills and will provide seasoned guidance on compliance issues as well as key financial and operational best practices.
